Having recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Education at the primary school level, this client was eager to gain a job permanently or as a casual relief teacher (CRT) with an agency.
With a wealth of experience gained in customer-facing roles, I felt the skills the client had acquired through these positions needed to be highlighted. During our conversation, I asked if she had volunteered in any schools, and although this was only in her own children’s schools, I felt it was very pertinent and needed to be added to the resume.
The client offered a wealth of knowledge in the educational sector and using this experience; I was able to ask relevant questions regarding skills and professional knowledge and to add these into the resume and cover letter.
I have no doubt that this client will have no issues being called to interview or gaining CRT work as soon as her Registration is finalised.
