Graduate Nurse Resume and Cover Letter
The client was due to complete her Bachelor of Nursing and was currently working as a Carer within an aged care facility. With limited experience within nursing, she aimed to gain entry into a graduate nursing program. To complete her resume and cover letter, I engaged the client in a discussion gathering her education, qualifications and employment history information.
The key elements I captured in her resume were:
- passion for progressing a career within nursing and her dedication to continuous professional development
- working collaboratively within the healthcare team to promote safe nursing practices
- eagerness to learn and enthusiasm for the nursing profession
Having completely restructured her current resume and cover letter, I significantly changed and added new content making the entire document more professional, readable and tailored to gaining a nursing position.
