The client had built a formidable career in Human Resources (HR) and was looking to secure a Senior role in the Public Sector where they could flex their change management and stakeholder engagement abilities. I had worked with the client previously, and they were now looking for a strong cover letter that succinctly summarised their skill set.
Throuh consulting with the client again, I was able to gain a strong understanding of how their career had advanced since we had last spoken. Analysing the position description, I asked a number of targeted questions that aligned with the requirements of the position, in addition to the values of the organisation that I was able to find on their website. Collating the client’s answers, I was able to present a cover letter that not only addressed position requirements, but concisely showcased the client’s expertise and experience.
