With experience as an academic, the client was seeking to increase their focus on this aspect of their career and move into lecturing and research opportunities.

The consultation centered around developing examples from the client’s current or past experience and relating them to the various criteria for the piece. As requirement of the role were strong current professional experience in nursing and in academic performance so for many of the criteria multiple examples highlighting the client’s dual skill sets were used.

The resulting document serves to highlight both the clients extensive nursing background and their experience developing students within the university environment. As the client intends to pursue further opportunities as an academic, it is likely that this piece will have multiple uses and with minor editing provide the ability to apply for other positions as they become available at this or other universities.
