A passionate cook who worked overseas for over four years, eager to embrace a new culture and cuisine, the client established herself in Australia with the aim to keep providing the most delicious meals. During her commercial cooking studies, she practiced her skills at the institution’s training restaurant, as well as worked at a fine-dining bistro. Once officially qualified, she was ready to join the right business.
During our first consultation, whilst I enquired about the type of role she aspired for, as well as the skills and experience she was offering, I could sense a strong passion and enthusiasm that I consistently reflected in her documents. We focused on her prep and cooking skills, organisation and time management, along with her aptitude to work in a team. To put together these documents, I familiarised myself with the relevant industry to make sure I would use the right keywords and similar language, to show the client had a thorough knowledge of the prospective role and kitchen she would support.
English not being her first language and being new to the hiring practices in Australia, the client needed our assistance. I am confident that we have delivered stand-out documents showcasing her extensive set of skills and experience, coupled with a strong stamina and friendly attitude; which would considerably improve the likelihood of obtaining an interview.
